Land of Charon - A Láz

Land of Charon released second studio album in 2001. The album is entitled A Láz (in English: The Fever) and contains nine tracks. Land of Charon started as a dark and gothic rock band in Perbál, Hungary. The main engine in the band is the singer songwriter János Veress.

A Láz is a masterpiece in terms of originality and creation. When listening, people can easily forget the problems in their own world. It is quite easy to forget the time and space while listening to the record. I would highlight one song, Szállj Kék Madár (in English: Fly Blue Bird), which is the zenith of the record.

The band is mainly influenced by the British goth scene such as Fields of Nephilim, Sistrs of Mercy, and probably Mission. I would highly recommend the record for anyone interested in dark and gothic rock music.
